Aqualand Waterpark, Santa Cruz, Bolivia
Aqualand Waterpark is designed as a major destination resort development for Santa Cruz, covering an area of over 40 acres. Plans for the development include a multi-phased waterpark, entertainment facilities, resort hotel, restaurant, night club, dry recreational facilities & other retail land uses. In the first phase implementation of the project provided a full range of waterpark rides & services for the development prior to its scheduled opening in the fall of 2002.
Waterpark construction included a combination 3-tube slide complex, Family Raft Ride, drop slide, 2 Kiddies’ areas with themed slides, a 30 meter Wave Pool & Lazy River. Future ride complexes include a twin Vortex thrill ride, four lane Surfhill Racer, twin 4-man In-Line Boat Rides, a Sidewinder MK-1 integrated into large splash pools & the lazy river.
